What is an Umbrella Policy?

An umbrella policy is a policy that sits above your home, auto, MC, boat, RV that gives an additional layer of liability protection.

Umbrella policies usually start at $1 million in coverage and go up from there. They are designed to protect you in devastating liability claims.

Things that an umbrella policy covers are:
Bodily injury
Personal injury
Property damage
Landlord liability

Things that are not covered by an umbrella policy are:
Personal Belongings
Intentional or criminal acts
Written or oral contracts

The average cost is $300 a year.

In order to make sure you have the right policy, be sure to reach out to your agent, or an agent you trust that can help you make the right decision for your needs.
