JSP & Associates (formally known as Sherzer & Associates ) has been helping local Sonoma County and Mendocino County residents since 2003. JSP & Associates has touched many people’s lives through out California. We have been there for our local residents during the tragic fires of Sonoma and Napa County and the fires of Northern California. We represent our clients to the best of our ability. We go above and beyond to make sure our clients needs are met and that they are fully covered during times of need.

Alex Bergere
Alex has been with JSP & Associates since the beginning. He has the kind of knowledge and know-how that you look for in an insurance agent. He has spent the last 25 years perfecting his profession, starting from the bottom doing filing in the back room, then working his way up to the front by doing customer service. After that, he aced his exam, becoming one of the youngest insurance agents in California at the time. After many years of learning the trade, he then became an owner in 2012.
Even though Alex’s business resides in Ukiah, he has lived all over. Growing up in grade school in San Francisco, then moving to Petaluma for Junior High. He then traveled with his family up to Ukiah where he finished up High School. After those epic years he took the plunge back into Santa Rosa where he went to college and met his wife. They now live in Santa Rosa and plan on making a name for themselves in Sonoma County.
Alex is honest, hard working and very personable. He goes above and beyond for his clients and helps even the people who are not his clients if they need questions answered. He’s what we like to call, a team player.

Cristina Castaneda
Cristina started with JSP & Associates back in 2000. She started as the front office customer service representative and is now a top agent in the office. She is hard working, incredibly sweet and helpful to ALL our clients and always wanting to make sure she’s doing a good job. Her loyalty to this company is not overlooked. We are proud to have Cristina in our office and so are our clients.
Cristina grew up in Ukiah and now is raising her son in Ukiah as well. She is very loyal to the community and everyone knows how great of a person she is. She recently was voted best customer service representative in Mendocino County! We are so proud to have her on our team.
